Sai Baba Temple

It is a very beautiful temple build on a very big area. This temple is near to Devanahalli airport. It is around 5kms from Devanahalli town & around 12 kms from Bangalore International Airport towards Chikballapur road. Just continue travelling on Hyderabad road after Devanahalli & within 5 kms we can find this temple towards the right hand side. The Dome on the temple is visible from some distance.

Bhoganandeeshwara temple.

Hindu temple located in Nandi village, at the base of Nandi Hills (or Nandidurga) in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state, India. It is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.


The Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple is a complex of three temples – Arunachaleshwara (depicting the childhood of Lord Shiva), the Bhoga Nandeeshwara (depicting his youth) and the Uma Maheshwara (that depicts the wedding scene between Uma and Shiva). This temple is a stunning example of Dravidian architecture. It is believed to have been built during the 9th century.


It is constructed around 806 A.D. by Rathnavalli of Bana dynasty is in Dravidian style. Temple is known for its ancient architecture. It is another example where one can find fine Ganga, Chola, Hoysala style of architecture.

Rangasthala

On the way from Chikkaballapur to Gouribidanur, this village has a beautiful temple of Lord Ranganatha (Vishnu) in the Vijayanagar style. The Ranganatha swamy temple or Rangasthala as it is known is situated 5km down Chikballapur towards the Gauribidanur village. This is a beautifully designed temple with a brilliantly carved stone statue of Vishnu and there are scriptures written in original Vijaynagar way on a black stone.

Srinivasa sagara

It is a beautiful lake, near Chikballapur. On the way from Chikkaballapur to Gouribidanur. Beautiful temple of lord Srinivasa is there.

Minakanagurki (Maheshwaramma temple)

Minakanagurki is a village in gauribidanur taluk in Chikballapur District of Karnataka State, India.The main attraction of Minkanagurki is Meheshwaramma temple has gardens growing sacred plants and trees. This temple has a special Navagrahavana portion dedicated to the nine planets.

Known for godess Gangamma temple. On way to Chikkaballapur to Gauribidanur you find this temple.

Ghatti subramanya

Ghati Subramanya is an ancient Hindu temple, situated amidst scenic valleys on the outskirts of Bangalore near Doddaballapura. It is located at a distance of 60 km from the city and is a popular pilgrimage centre. The idol of Lord Karthikeya with a seven headed cobra is made from a single stone. It faces eastwards while the idol of “Lord Narasimha" faces westwards. To ensure that both deities are visible to devotees at the same time, a huge mirror was placed in the rear in the sanctum sanctorum.
